Marta Dell’ Angelo records herself with a video camera on top of the TV while she is zapping. The artist’s face tries to remain emotionless while channels are changing. The sides switch; now the television is watching her.
Flashes of monitor light one followed by another appear, dissolve and disappear on her face depending on the channel. The face becomes a screen of light and darkness, a mirror of luminous chores and audio-cuts, an interface-meeting surface, a connecting point in which one could disappear, dissolve. The vitality of the television screen decides and determines the spatial existence of the moment.
